Every year, Six Figure Dinners hosts a retreat that gives our peer advisory board members the chance to get together for a couple of days of professional growth, personal connections, and plenty of fun. This year’s event on the beautiful Lake Travis was truly something special!

The annual retreat is much more than just a break from the daily grind, it’s a crucial part of our community’s growth.

For a couple of days, we step away from traditional business settings and enjoy an environment that’s all about open communication, trust, and building deeper bonds.

One of the core elements of our retreats is creating a safe space where members can openly share their vulnerabilities.

This year, members were encouraged to discuss their successes as well as the challenges they’re dealing with. The trust and openness created in this relaxed setting help each member gain unique insights, support, and advice that are only possible in a close-knit group.

The retreat was packed with activities designed to strengthen our connections and inject fun into our interactions.

Highlights included the Six Figure Dinners Olympics, featuring games like bocce, corn hole, and a spirited water balloon toss, as well as a group hike.

While these activities were a ton of fun, they were also a great opportunity for our members to bond a little bit more and to let their guards down a bit, helping create deeper, more meaningful connections with their fellow board members.

This bonding is important because it creates a foundation of genuine relationships that go a long way to effective ongoing peer advisory.

This leads to better communication and collaboration during future peer advisory board meetings and one-on-ones, making them more productive and efficient.

Members return to discussions with renewed energy and a greater sense of camaraderie, which enhances the problem-solving and support aspects of our meetings, helping everybody get more from their peer advisory board.

The retreat setting also allows members to reflect on their paths and reassess their goals in a supportive environment, encouraging them to step back and look at the bigger picture of their business and personal growth.

While it might seem like just a couple of days of fun on the surface, the annual retreat really is a central piece of the Six Figure Dinners experience with benefits that extend far beyond those few days we’re there.

As we close the chapter on this year’s retreat, we’re already looking forward to the next one.

For those who joined us, thank you for being open and engaged.

For those who couldn’t make it, we hope to see you next year.
